Following Government advice issued on Monday 16 March 2020 to step up measures to combat the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic we have taken the decision to cancel all organised events due to be hosted in City of Edinburgh Council Parks during March and April.
For those Organisers with events planned for May and June we are making contact with them to establish your intentions and if they are still planning to go-ahead with their event or not.
At this stage we do not know how long this situation will last and impact on events. We will continue to monitor developments.
This is an incredibly complex and fast-moving situation and as I am sure you will appreciate the safety and well-being of the public is our number one priority.
